Go to the Family Sevice Center on base on Monday. Tell them what is going on. They will do a financial couseling with you so bring all your paperwork to get the most out of the meeting. They should be able to help you fix the problem and help you help yourself. They may be able to get you a grant or loan at a low rate that will help pay off other debts as long as you set up an allotment to pay them back over time. Don't do the BK thing, it will be with you for a very long time and it isn't worth it. Tell someone in your chain of command also. Asking for help is a lot better than them finding out with court documents or something. The longer you hide this stuff from yourself and others the worse off you will be. But yes if you let it get to extremes they can kick you out with an OTH discharge. The military is a great life with great pay and benefits, don't mess that up hurry and ask for help.

It depends on your circumstances as to how "bad" it would be. Consult a bankruptcy attorney!

Consult with the Relief agency in your branch of the military. I was in the Navy, and I know "Navy Relief" helped the sailors in financial troubles. I would consult with them first.
