It's normal to feel depressed afterward, which is probably what you're really feeling. You normally have chemicals in your body called endorphins that make you feel relatively good all the time. And when you get turned on and masturbate, you also have hormones, mainly testosterone, at high levels making you feel REALLY good. Then when you have an orgasm and ejaculate, you burn everything up at once, your testicles go into spasm and you stop making any more hormones for a while until your body rests and relaxes. It's that sudden loss of hormones and endorphins that make you feel depressed for a little while. Plus you're exhausted from masturbating. Plus the frustration that we can never remember what it feels like to have an orgasm, even a minute afterward.

You just learn to expect that feeling and to prepare to rest afterward while your body recovers. It's just biology, not morality (although some religions may try to convince you that it's the other way around).

It is some what normal but you should not be ashamed. Masturbation is good for you and great for your reproductive system. Part of the reason for this is that during ejaculation or climaxing your body releases endorphins which are hormons that relax us. In some people those endorphins also affect us emotionally and they feel guilty. Just understant that you need to be masturbating it is okay, it is not a sin, and don't feel guilty.

Its totally normal.

Our society has put an irrational stigma around masturbation. Even though pretty much everyone does it, most older people are ashamed to admit it (probably due to Christian backgrounds).

So yes, its normal to irrationally feel bad about masturbating, but its not wrong to masturbate. Once you've done it a few times you will begin to realize how dumb it is to feel bad about.
If nothing else, look at it as practice sessions for improving stamina :P

I used to feel that way. But realized it was because I went to church all the time and they were really hardcore christians where women didn't cut hair, wore dresses, and guys had long sleeves long pants, etc.

But ever since I went to college and now in my late twenties, I don't feel bad at all. Actually, I wish I would have had sex more often than I did to tell the truth. I turned so many girls away. Anyway, you'll see and figure it out for yourself.

It's pretty normal if you're in your early to mid-teens, especially if you come from a pretty uptight environment. But in time, you'll realize you're not hurting anybody and just releasing a little tension.

If you're older than that, then it's probably unusual.

it's somewhat normal, but you shouldn't feel guilty at all.
masturbation is normal and actually really GOOD for you!
Don't worry about it so much, practically everyone does it.
