I'll put up Bryan Hextall, Allan Stanley, Bill Gadsby, and Vic Hadfield against any of the guys on Dan's team...........and I guarantee you.....my guys will be the ones left standing.
I've seen Colton Orr fight twice. He lost to Chara in an exhibition game in 2003 taking 3 punches and going down without getting a punch in (no wonder Boston treaded him and signed Chara). He then got roughed up pretty badly by Brian McGrattan in March 2006.

Snoop,
I thought about Jagr, but even in a high scoring era he's not as good as Bun Cook, Bathgate and Rod Gilbert. It came down to him, Hextall, and Lafleur on Espo's wing. Espo can't stand Jagr or Lafleur, and Hextall's been dead for years so that left Hextall.
As Cyren pointed out, Beezer would have been a better choice based on my criteria, but Richter won a Cup, Beezer didn't. And we all know Stanley rules (hence the inclusion of Allan Stanley (who won 4 cups as a Leaf after leaving the Big Apple))

I contemplated making that the first line...after all, it has the two highest scoring players in NHL history....but Cook, Cook, and Boucher are one of the few complete lines in the Hall of Fame, and in the 70s, Gilbert-Ratelle-Hadfield were only surpassed by Barber-Clarke-MacLeish and Robert-Perreault-Martin. So, those are the two best lines in Rangers history...Gretzky and Messier will have to settle for less ice time. Vickers and Espo actually played on the power-play together in the late 70s, and along with Vicker's Calder Trophy was the reason for including him.

Okay People.....I get it...........this is now a 3 goalie team....Vanbeisbrouck has made the cut.
My all-time Ranger Coach would be Lester Patrick

Snoop,
Vickers has a much higher pts/game than Graves did. Take Away Graves' 50 goal season, and he's just another solid player. Kovalev didn't meet any of the criteria. Sadly neither did Walter Tkaczuk. Lindros and Bure were great players for other teams, but their Ranger careers took them to new lows.

The day before Gretzky was traded by LA..........LA traded Kurri to the Rangers, he played 14 games there.
I was looking at 3 years as a minimum cut-off...enough time to establish a presence as a Ranger
