Hello, after drinking all day their gills tend to become relaxed and make a slight rumbling noise many think it is a form of snoring but in fact it keeps them awake as you can see they never shut their eyes, unlike humans they do not suffer from brewers droop but a more serious one called fin droop which time to time lets them keep rolling on their backs and this can create a gargling sound as they drown which also sounds like snoring. Sounds like a fishy story but it's true thuss me!!!! xx

I imagine it would be very difficult to find out, how would we do that?
Do fish fart?
Another interesting question, how could we prove that? Not by bubble rate!
This question of yours has opened a can of worms and needs much more research, I may well devote the rest of my life and write a book on the subject?
But my last book was based on years of research on the subject of seagulls, do they actually aim at my head when they are having a cr*p? That only sold 2 copies!!

ahahaha what a question, now I am back on my seat I wouldn`t have thought so but I did get a strange pic of all these bubbles floating to the top of the fish bowl and I suppose there is oxygen in water so the right ingredients may well be there

Yes...they do snore...but only in their dreams....and the bubbles are different...because they are infused with Dream Dust....sometimes you see a mass of iridescent bubbles on the surface of the water....you know one of them just had a fantastic dream.....
