aight, im not sure about what the deal is with Pierre now that Andruw is taking his position right? But i would really love for him to get traded baq to the Marlins i know it sounds dumb but i think Pierre plays with more heart than anyone in the MLB i wish he would get traded or aquired somehow by the Marlins even though we have Maybin to play in Center maybe Pierre can go to left who knows whats ur thoughts?

He might play with heart, but he sure doesn't play with much ability. His OBP is falling, and he's never had any power. He's basically a really bad slap hitter who doesn't know how to draw a walk.

The Marlins are better off with Maybin, especially since Pierre makes $9m per season. I'd take Pierre's numbers from a guy making the league minimum, but he's not even close to justifying that salary.

If you want Pierre, you can have him. Not too many Dodger fans, including myself, like him. He does play with a lot of heart but his arm in centerfield is a real problem, everyone runs on him. I would love to be able to trade Pierre.

I agree, send pierre back to the marlins or anywhere for that matter because as an LA fan, we don't need him.

there must be something in the water in LA. they gave pierre a fat contract and now theyre going to bench him for andruw jones who also got a fat undeserving contract. jones is good, but is he 18 million dollars good? NO. also the angels spent 50 mill on matthews jr last year and now they go after a 30 something year old hunter for 18 mill over 5 years? crazy. too smog clogging up the brain in LA eh?

Does playing with heart mean he isn't really very good?
He doesn't play with much eye or brain--as noted, poor OBP for a lead-off man, no power, has had one season with even 55 walks, not much of an arm in CF, he does do well in making lots and lots of outs.

If you want him at his salary, you're asking with a lot of heart...just not much of the grey matter.

Yep, I wouldn't want him on my team.

Isn't Willingham in left a lot? I'll take his power over Pierre's uh... heart.

there is no way that the marlins would want to absord the sallary that he makes. he could go to say the rangers or white sox, or anther them that needs a leadoff center fielder.

Take him. He is just blocking the path of the youngsters.
