when you start dating someone, how hard is it for you to finally say " I love you"?

My first husband told me on our 2nd date. I busted out laughing and told him he didn't have to lie to get into my pants. We were together for 10 years. Married for 5 of them. Still friends and when we talk still tell each other that we love one another at the end of the conversation.
