personality. looks is what attracks a person to someone else, but personality keeps the person around. like me. there was this new girl at work a couple of months ago, she is really short and really skinny(not anorexic skinny) (has short hair and nice eyes). she didnt have a butt or boobs. my first thought was "holy Sh*t she is skinny!" i kinda thought it was gross. but then we started talking and i really began to like her. couple of weeks later we started going out.

there is no universal likability.
you need to look at this as an interaction between two people. Nobody is liked by everyone, it depends on how compatible the two people being compared are.
Factors that influence this include: personality big 5 (agreeableness, neuroticism, openness, conscientiousness, extraversion), and personal preferences of both people. For example, one person might be introverted, but like to be with extraverted people.

People are likeable when they try to make others feel valued. These people have a sense of humor, a generous spirit, are honest and non-judgemental. They make others feel welcomed and comfortable so that they feel free to be themselves.

a person gotta talk about alot of different things to be likeable he gotta wear cool stuff and its ok if they werent very funky and to be always clean and to have alo tof friends which happens when he talks to everybody and the person gotta have his own personality and not try to do stuff other ppl do and to look always neat i think there are alot of things but i gotta go to sleep now i am tierd

That is a relative question with answers relative to each person. There is no one answer to that one. I doubt people can even agree on those answers considering we all come from diverse backgrounds.

It's hard to say. I know a girl who is extremely arrogant, stubborn and childish yet lots of people like her. Why? Because she knows how to act around people she has to impress, she's pretty and she has sense of humor (albeit a rather cynical and harsh sense of humor).

this is tough to answer because different traits are likable to different people.. personally I prefer the company of calm quiet people to loud obnoxious ones.. but I know other people find quiet people boring.. so it depends on who you ask..
