Where is the best place too see Christmas decorations on houses in the South East of London, Croydon, Surrey, Bromley areas, and mid surrey? I mean are there any well know areas for having competitions between the houses? Or any that ask for charitable donations? What im looking for are over the top outrageous houses that a 6 year old child would like. Or somewhere like a woodland or park that is nicely decorated. Central London however, is a no-go!!!!!!. Thanks for all your suggestions!

there's a really famous house near reading- not much help though! Try keeping an eye on your local free paper, a charity deonation house is the sort of thing they would put in- they had an article in ours this week about a christmas display entirely from chocolate set up in a new build- one in Cheltenham, Oxford and somewhere else. Check out local stately homes etc as well for xmas events- what about kew gardens? I bet they'd have something on, can't think on the top of my head where else is near you. Maybe look on the national trust website, or the english heretage one.
