Plastic Surgery?

Question

I had some plastic surgery done. . . but I didn't tell anyone but my bestfriend. However, at work my coworkers alway try to make sly comments, gestures, and jokes about me. I had it done to feel more secure with myself. But I wanted to know why people would even care or stoop so low? What I do in my free time is my business. WHy are they constantly harassing me about the subject?

They are jealous! Many women would like to tweak things but don't have the guts or the money. Who cares, as long as you are happy!

First off, why the big secret? IF you had something that you felt you needed plastic surgery then if you surgeon was good it's going to look different after the surgery correct? When you act all secretive you act as if you have something to hide. People are going to talk based on your reaction. Next comment or snide remark, I'd make a remark back like, "yes, didn't my surgeon do a fantastic job? His/her name is DR. Whatever. Perhaps you would like his/her number?"

Because people are envious in this world. IF you want to be happy you have to realize first that-
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). People are mean when they are jealous or judge you. They are not your friends. Ignore them as best you can. They'll lose interest when they see that you aren't playing along. I'm sorry. Know that bullies are those who feel inferior and the only way they have to feel better is to make someone else feel bad. Think of them as lowly bugs or any other image that comes to your mind. Just smile. You will be all right.

I agree that they are jealous. Its a shame that they are not mature enough to simply ask you about it rather than whisper and point. Maybe they are just so bored with their own lives that they have to gossip about others'. Try not to let it bother you but I can see how it would.

You have to develop enough self esteem not to let it bother you. Who cares what they think? If you feel good about yourself that's enough. They are probably just jealous of you anyway.

Jealous to the max they are!!!!!!!! I had my boobies done three months ago. I don't flaunt them in anybody's face, but hubby's! ha. BUT, if someone says anything derogatory, I may just push these things in their face! ha! Food for thought....
