What you are claiming as fact is the hypothesis of abiogenesis.
In fact this hypothesis is refuted by the evidence, but it is believed on religious grounds by those who deny creation. If God did not create life then there is no alternative except life created itself.
Don't believe everything that evolutionists tell you. You may find some ill-informed people referring to the Urey-Miller experiment as support for abiogenesis. It actually helped to confirm just how impossible it is for life to spontaneously arise.
