Keep babysitting and get a part-time job and earn more money as fast as you can.
Then go on a website which sells things, and look at ads in papers.
You might get lucky. But earn the money, and pay a fair price.

You won't die. In fact, you'd be even more disappointed when you found out, upon buying and having your pink laptop, that (1) a more luscious pinktop became available and (2) the generous person who gave you the first laptop now made you feel guilty because you voiced some desire for (1), which made you seem insufficiently grateful for the already-purchased laptop. (You MUST be sufficiently beholden for ever and ever for the rest of your life!)

christmas is coming up. ask your parents....or grandparents...im not sure how old you are but if you are lika kid or teenager then say that you will take the laptop as a gift for the next 3 years as your b-day and xmas gift. Thats how i got my pink laptop :-D. good luck
