I understand that the rooms are good but haven't stayed there yet because I find the rooms to be frequently on the pricey side. The casino is actually a little cramped - there's not very much open area and the ceiling is kind of low. The friendly casino staff really make up for any shortcomings. When I gamble at that end of the strip, I'd rather be at Harrah's than anywhere else.

Casino's are all the same. The up scale ones are the Wynn, Belagio, Caesars Palace. Harrah's would be about average. I always pick the casino by price and location on the strip. For example the HardRock and the Palms are a good walk from the strip.

Harrah's casino is large and nice but not one of the newer properties. It is the center area of the Strip and a great place to stay if you want to enjoy several casinos.
Go to www.harrahs.com and view what they have to offer. Harrah's is part of Harrah's Entertainment, the world's largest casino corporation that also includes Caesar's Palace.

Some of the casino people were really rude. I'm just 3 years under 18 and my parents just stopped to look at a game and I stayed like 5 foot away and was not looking and the guy shooed me away in a pretty rude way so I stayed back like 5 more foot and he kept saying I can't be here and all that crap.

Depends what you're in to, but in my opinion Harrah's is very dated. Ceasers (new tower) and the Bellagio are better choices.

I haven't stayed there but I have been in there to gamble and I actually enjoyed myself there, though I didn't win much at all. I just liked the atmosphere...I agree it could be a little crowded at times. I also at at the Toby Keith place and LOVED it!
