Only another minute or so...

Well not a lot, ever since I was 16, had always had someone.
However 7 years ago, split up from the only woman I will ever love.
I miss her every second of every minute of every day.
So suppose the only reason I continue to live, is I can drink a bottle of scotch, every day!
But for how much longer, is a question.
So perhaps my life has no more any meaning.
In some ways, hope when I go to sleep, will not wake up>
But there are still things I want to do.
So will go on with solitude and try and accomplish some thing with my life, suppose

With no others around? For short periods of time. I suppose I could go for months and even years, but I'd probably end up in the loony bin for a stint. A short one, hopefully. I do love people, and I love my solitary mind, also. So there has to be some balance. Having pets would help greatly. I've always wanted a horse, but I've heard they are a lot of work, and I don't need any more.

There is NOTHING I like better than being alone. I am an only child and maybe that has something to do with it, but I feel safest, peaceful, calm, strong, meditative, pulled-together, and at my best when I am completely left alone. When things get chaotic, I go to my room, shut the door, lock it, and just 'be' for awhile. Totally rejuvenating.

My ex-boyfriend would tell me that I'd make a perfect candidate to go live on a deserted island. The only thing...is that I'd be so content with myself that I'd never explore the island to discover it was even deserted...

In short...
I can stand plenty of solitude.
I enjoy the company I keep in my alone time...

A lot more than I care for.

I am cold so that is an advantage but It is also a curse because a warmer person would do anything to avoid the loneliness.

Of course a warmer person can always defrost me.

Hi,

After seeing your picture, I don't want to be alone.
Liberate me from my solitude.

Not much! I like to have a little bit of alone time but after that I need someone to talk to even if it's my cats! LOL =0)

So far I am doing okay, but I am guessing that if this continues for a couple more weeks I'll go mad for sure. People are not meant to be alone.

To a large extent.

I believe I'm going to live alone for the rest of my life, and I'm not in panic...

(I recognize it would probably be better if I had someone supportive by my side, though...)
