My question is why is it that the government is going after Bonds and other baseball players for using steroids and not body builders? I mean it's illegal for people in the US to use steroids right? I can almost guarantee every professional body builder uses steroids. If it is illegal for Bonds and other baseball players to use steroids it is also illegal for body builders.

There are many people using steroids. The reason you don't here about the body builders is because there are more role models in baseball, football, etc than body building

There was a five count indictment against Bonds; Four counts for lying to a grand Jury and one count of obstruction. There was no indictment for his use of steroids. He could have said, yes I have used them in the past and here is where I got them and he would not have been indicted.

yes it's also illigal for bodybuilders to use roids, they have to be caught and there is less scrutiny on their profession than there is on baseball it's our "pastime"and nobody wants it tarnished.
