If you define domination as 10 males is to 5 females then yes.

but I am one of the females though...

It is pretty exciting career and can pay the bills...

Not at all. I have worked in IT related jobs for nearly 20 years and the split has always been fairly even. This was in California's "Silicon Valley" area. It may be different in other parts of the country
