Where do they go?

Theuy don't take them to the pound! Are you guessing here??? Looks like it.

Usually, they will begin marking the price down until it sells. I have seen many that have price reductions on older puppies. The store will take a loss when they have to, that's the chance you take in that business. They will sell it cheap to a customer or give an employee a deal on it as a "perk" before they give it away to a shelter for free, that does just not make any business sense, and would never happen.

Well from my research, I have found that 75% of the puppies go to the North pole to be held until Christmas. Santa delivers them to kids that wanted a puppy for Christmas. The other 25% go to Michael Vicks house.

the pet shop owner does not take them home. they stay in the cage and get taken out for walks and play etc.
The price gets reduced if not sold then they are sent to different stores and finally to the pound where they are sure to find a home in most cases.

i disagree with someone above - whether they get sent home with the pet shop owner is up to the owner.

they lower their prices first and if there are no-one offering them homes, they send them to another pet shop, to the pound, rescue shelter, back to the orignal owner or (unfortunatly) some people will just dump them. :'( this is why u should never breed until u no u can find homes 4 all the puppies

I have always wondered this myself, especially when I was with my sister at the mall and she bought the next to last toy poodle in the cage .... I always felt sorry for the last one left behind and even wondered if it felt alone, or lonley. :(

Prices are marked down until they sell..always works!

Believe me, they DO get attention and playtime while they're there...that's been my experience...
