Well in Native American Astrology, This is the meaning of the Owl... And why do I care? I hit one last night! So once I got home, I called Michell, (a friend & gifted psychic). She could see that I had the unique experience of making contact with a spirit guide of mine. Hmmm, the owl did look me right in the eyes -as my headlights flattened him. Poor baby. But when I went back to the scene, this morning --there was absolutely no trace of him! Michelle told me last night that he wouldn't be there as he just went "poof" and dissappeared the minute I hit him (so of course I had to go looking for even a feather to disprove that theory, but to no avail). She said this Guide just wanted to get my attention because nothing else was working & wants me to prioritize & slow down as I've been going pretty recklessly through all of my tasks, jobs, schools, etc... So then I looked up the Native American Website for symbolism on these Spirit Guides, the first place I checked did somewhat confirm the meaning of the Guide/Owl... in terms of me getting a bit reckless & careless (not that hitting the creature isn't enough of a message to be less careless, but apparetnly my "Guide" had to make it hit home. Anyway, here is the Native American Astrological Meaning and symbolism for the Owl: Nov 23 – Dec 21
Changeable and mutable as the wind, the Owl is a tough one to pin down. Warm, natural, with an easy-going nature, the Owl is friend to the world. The bearer of this Native American animal symbol is notorious for engaging in life at full speed, and whole-hearted loves adventure. This can be to his/her detriment as the Owl can be reckless, careless, and thoughtless. Owls make great artists, teachers, and conservationists. However, due to his/her adaptability and versatility – the Owl would likely excel in any occupation. In a supportive, nurturing environment the Owl is sensitive, enthusiastic, and an attentive listener. Left to his/her own devices, the Owl can be excessive, overindulgent, bitter, and belligerent. Well I am certainly not belligerent are you??? Take care & Slow Down, April~

it means...u had an unexpected foreseen. U DID NOT see the owl coming. LOL

Scientifically, it means that ur reaction time was not fast enough to decelerate the controlled vehicle in time to place a sufficient amount between u and the unforeseen object for it to be considered as safe or non-fatal. *breathe in deeply cuz talked non stop*

You don't want to know.
My wife's family is Sac and Fox - they won't even allow a picture of an owl in the house.

Oh, nothing much .... except in the afterlife, you will be chained to a rock, and each day an owl will peck away your liver, only to have it grow back the next day.
