Amazing. The best speech in many years, by any politician. He hit the nail on the head on why this nation was founded...

I thought it was a very solid speech. However, I thought the reasons that led him to give it were verydisgusting and sad commentaries on our country. Many of the same elitist gasbags that bemoan the need for a seperation of church and state are the same bigots who won't even consider the man because he's a Mormon.

1. If you're so adamant that your religion isn't an issue, don't make a speech about it...unless you WANT to turn it into an issue...
2. I'm from the Commonwealth of MA, so I've seen Romney in action. I'll vote for ANYONE but Mitt Romney. Seriously-Hillary, Huckabee, my sister's toaster overn-they couldn't be worse than Romney.

His timing for applause was impeccable, those warm smiles and gentle nods gave you the feeling he was President. He very cleverly duped the media into airing his newest campaign speech.

I thought it was pointless drivel. He compared himself to JFK because his religion is in question. Religion should have no bearing on anyone's political affiliation, so if he can't distance himself from it, he doesn't need to running for office.
