jezz these text books they're giving out are all out of date and have the wrong info in them.
I'd be careful about asking homework questions online.

I think you mean the brief time of Inflation. For some reason, within a very few milliseconds of the Big Bang - it *seems* to have expanded faster than the sped of light...
