I believe the correct answer is 20m. Of course, I'm just doing pre-algebra, so I'm not completely sure.

Use the Pythagorean theorem to solve the hypotenuse of both right triangles, then add up the perimeter segment values - ABm + BCm + 3m + 4m

You have to calculate the two hypotenuses: the hypotenuse of the 3,4 triangle is 5 (Pythagoras). The hypotenuse of the 3,3 triangle is sqrt [(3^2) + (3^2)] =
sqrt [(9) + (9)] =
sqrt [18] = 4.24.
Add them together: 3m + 4m+ 5m + 4.24m = 16.24 m / ans.

i think u should use the pythagorem theorom(sp?)
a^2+b^2=c^2

3m+4m=c^2
9m^2+16m^2=c^2
25m^2=c^2
find the square root
5m

3m+3m=c^2
9m^2+9m^2=c^2
18m^2=c^2
find the square root
4.2426406m

4.2426406m
5m
7m(3m+4m)

16.24264m

i hope i helped and i hope i got it right because i havent reached that yet but it seems logical to me!!!
