I had sex on day 6 of my cycle (6 days after the start of bleeding) and I was still spotting a tiny bit on this day. I am trying to PREVENT pregnancy so I used condoms and withdrawal. No rips or spills at all!My concern is that when my boyfriend stood up to put on the condom I saw a long thin string of pre-ejaculate coming from him! He wiped off, put on condom and proceeded. During foreplay I was naked and underneath him. He did NOT penetrate me or touch me before the condom was on. But I'm paranoid that maybe some of that long strand could have somehow touched or contacted me but I'm not sure. Now in the middle of my cycle I am experiencing spotting. So I'm scared maybe I ovulated early and this is implantation spotting (I'm also having cramps).I just started taking a birth control pill this month that says spotting may occur but I'm not sure what to believe. I'm really scared but don't know if I should be. I know I have to wait and see(so far negative preg. test) but what are the odds

Well when you start taking the pill if you took it from the first day of your period and used condoms for 7 days after you should be fine. It is always possible that you have ovulated early but being as you were still finishing your period its not very likely. Take a test in your 7 day break if you dont bleed but spotting when your taking the pill is normal as your body is adjusting.
