You can make a braided rug (or table mat): http://www.craftown.com/instruction/rugs.htm

You can make a heating pad by cuttng off one leg, sewing one end and filling the tube with rice and closing the other end. Pop it into the microwave for a 2 or 3 minutes and you have a heatpad to keep you warm--or help warm your bed at night. I sometimes use the heatpad around my head to alleviate a severe tension headache.

You can also make pocket sized hand warmers. I made them one Christmas and they were quite popular. Sew small squares together and fill them with rice. Warm them up in the microwave for about 1 minute and they're ready to go.

You can make a denim rag quilt: http://www.gloryquilts.com/patterns/denim.htm

You can make a ribbon bulletin board. Cut the jeans up into pieces and sew them together to make the fabric cover. Use the pockets and zipper as part of the decore. (The zipper can be a "Secret Pocket". http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.3a0656639de62ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=2c4ec137bf22f010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=also_try_p2

Some of these ideas may take more than one pair of jeans. If you need more to finish the project, go to your local thrift store and purchase used jeans (go for the larger sizes to get more fabric) or just add onto the project as you wear out jeans.

Cut the legs off at the crotch, and turn them inside out. Sew the bottom closed, which makes a tote bag. Use material from the legs to make a strap and you are good to go.

make them into purses. Just cut the pockets off and put it on another part of the pant leg, and sew it on the leg. Then close up the bottom and make a strap. you can make shorts out of them too, or just save them to use as "project pants" for painting, gardening, and the like.

If you really want to be creative. Turn it into somthing totally wearable. Cut the material into geometric strips. Pick another material to mix in and create a skirt or funky jacket

If they are too short in the legs, but not too tight you can just cut the bottoms off at an angle like this: /\
If they are too tight make them into twin handbags and give one to your best friend

If you can stitch really good, make a pocketbook or a cell phone holder out of them. You'd have to get the pattern.
