1. the diameter of a circle is 14cm. find the circumferance and the area of the circle. round your 2 decimal places places

Most important is r, the RADIUS of the circle, which is 7.

circumferance = 2*Pi*r = 2*Pi*7 = 14 Pi.
area= Pi*r^2 = Pi*7^2 = 49 Pi.

Pi is about 3.14.

2. A given trapaziod has two parallel sides, its bases, with lengths 11.3 inch. and 7.5 inchs
the heighs of the trapazoid is 4 inchs

Find the area of the trapazoid

Area =h* (b1+b2)/2
= 4*(11.3+7.5)/2
= 4*18.8/2
= 4*9.4
= 37.6 inch^2

C = πd = 14π ≈ 43.98 cm
A = πr² = π(7)² = 49π ≈ 153.94 cm²

A = h(b1 + b2)/2
A = 4(11.3 + 7.5)/2
A = 2(18.8) = 37.6 in.²
