Yep, 20 weeks (5 months). You're not always able to tell the gender though, so hope your baby is sprawled open for the viewing lol!
My daughter hid it well and I was told 50-50 for a girl, and the next ultrasound I received later in my pregnancy was STILL questionable... I was told 51-49 for a girl LOL My Sonographer told me not to buy all pink.
I bought all pink.
I did have my little girl though, thank goodness! EVERYTHING was pink LOL! I figured I could do returns if need be. It would have been a excuse to shop ;)
I remember when she was born, everybody was saying congratulations but nobody told me for sure the sex (or I didn't hear with all the commotion). I was freaking out asking IS IT A GIRL? IS IT A GIRL? lol
Just keep in mind that they may not be able to tell, and even if they can, they CAN be wrong. Good luck and CONGRATS on your new bundle of joy. Motherhood is the best gift in the world :)

It will depend on when your doctor schedules your routine ultrasound for. My doctor usually schedules them at 16 weeks but because of my work schedule, I was 17 weeks when I went. I was able to find out then that we're having girl #3.

16-20 weeks is the best time to tell. Some times they can tell as soon as 15, but its not the best time to look. After 20 weeks the baby is usually too big to get a good shot.

the gender can be determined at 20 weeks but the baby has to be in a position that the genitals can be seen.

Usually around 16-20 wks, or 4-5mos. Sometimes the baby is positioned badly and you will have to wait longer.

The norm is anywhere from 16-20 weeks. I had a 20-week scan and found out the sex at that time.
