humans regulate their body tempurature. thats why we are called "warm blooded" meaning we ALL keep our blood at 98 F.
so a black (dark brown) person might warm up faster, but doesn't get any hotter than anyone else.
this might also help the body start colling down faster, by reaching a hot state quicker.
which would give them an advantage. People adapt to survive their climates. I don't think black people turned black because it made it harder for them too regulate 98, but because it made things EASIER.
I personally don't think there is much difference.

If they are not wearing any clothing to change their surface color, then yes, black people would get hot faster in the sun than white people.
However, black people also have chemicals in their skin that help prevent sunburns, so even though they tend to get warmer in the sun, they still don't get sunburned as fast.

Africans have the most efficient cooling systems of the basic races, because they evolved in a tropical climate. That strong melanin protects them from sunburn much better than Asians and europeans with less pigment. They also have body proportions opposite to asians, more active perspirtion glands, kinky hair to cool the brain, etc.

Of course they do. That's why Mims made that song. 'This Is Why I'm Hot' He wanted to communicate to the world that their skin is on fire sometimes.

While black skin absorbs heat more readily, it also radiates heat better, so cooling is more efficient.
