last week i fell heavily and smashed my elbow with such force i cannot even tell you.
since then my arm is really painful either side of my elbow and i have hardly any feeling from my fingers to my armpit
However, i can still use my arm and my hand although it it painfull.
Is it possible to break your arm, yet still be able to move it?
i hate to bother the doctor for something silly

HI being a doctor i would advise u restrict ur movement & at first go 2 a/e & have an x-ray ,before this put on an elbow brace other wise mal-union will occur & it may lead to chronic pain

O dear, it's not something silly..you might have damaged one of your nerves and it will not heal unless the doctor say it's nothing to worry about. I'm more afraid that you might blackout if someone accidentally knocks you at that arm of yours one day. Dude, just go and see the doctor!

go to the hospital

i don't know if you broke your arm, but loss of feeling can mean nerve damage. which is reason enough to see the doctor

and i broke my arm once, and could still move my arm and hand. the only reason i couldn't move my wrist too was because it was dislocated.

Could be a hairline fracture. Not feeling any sensation isnt a good thing dude. Get it checked.

It is possible to fracture a bone, and because it is supported by the muscles around it, to be able to use it. See a doctor.
