Microsoft has discontinued FrontPage.

Microsoft Expression Web is the new Microsoft product for web design.

Frontpage comes with selected versions of Office.

Honestly, you're cheating yourself if you need Frontpage, which generates extremely poor (quality) HTML. Even Dreamweaver, is not void of this characteristic.

Writing HTML by hand is still, unfortunately, the best way to write clean, good (quality) HTML. Once you learn enough of it, it's quite simple. :-)

If you must have a WYSIWYG editor, there are several open source ones available. Heck, if pressed, Word can generate HTML. As equally poor as Frontpage too.

Apparently you only purchased the "standard" package. Front Page only comes with the Pro version.

The good news is that you can insert the CD for your old versions of Office, let the install start, and then customize the install so it only adds Front Page, not everything else.

mya be the lastest version, but at least you will have a version of Front Page.

It only comes in Office Professional. You will have to buy it seperatly. (What a rip off huh?) You can get it from MS but I would order the CD instead of downloading it.
