I order from QVC and HSN all the time. I just ordered a Christmas gift for my dad from HSN. Usually I don't watch either unless it's a craft show. I usually get an email notice that a craft show will be on from one of the scrapbook groups I belong to. Otherwise, I may be just surfing and see something interesting. Saturday, my dad was doing that, and saw a guitar he wanted. I ordered it for him, then when I printed off the detail I saw something else from the same collection that I thought he'd like, so I ordered that. I got an email yesterday telling me it would be delivered by 12-10. I don't like to shop because I have problems with my knees and my sciatic nerve, and standing in line is very difficult for me.

I've been very satisfied with things I've ordered. I don't generally order clothes, because it's hard to know what size to get. Only once did I get something broken that had to be returned. HSN paid the return shipping and sent a new one before I returned the broken one.

Of course people purchase off of the channels or they would not be able to operate QVC, HSN and a few others 24/7. Just think of them as a running infomercial. A lot of consumers are not big at shopping in stores or online shopping (weird to probably most reading this, as we are online!). HSN/QVC offer that "homes store" where they don't have to leave their home. Also, I would offer that many of those on air personalities have cult like followings. Many celebrities off their own personal lines offered on QVC and HSN like Susan Somers, Joan Rivers and Laura Gellar. Seriously, if those networks went off the air, there would be a major uprising. There are addicts to outlet just like ESPN or MTV. Funny or not funny....it's a multi-billion dollar industry!

.I did . I was a QVC junkie . They were great, always had my packages on time, and always were very polite. I love to look at snow but hate to be in the cold. besides I didn't have to hall all those presents from one store to another. They came right to my door. I love shopping out of a catalog. People can be rude at this Jolly season and cuts down on Road rage .

I think it's dangerous. My Grandmother was home bound and addicted to QVC....She got into 15 thousand in debt this way. She would have never bought the things she did if she had to go out to get them. Be cautious.

I watch it everyday. I cannot help it-I love to shop!! I guess I love to window shop more b/c I am like you and have not ordered much. However, I did order from them a long time ago. They were friendly and the exchange policy is simple. They use to include a self addressed paid postage for return if needed-what more could you ask for??? Good luck!

I don't watch constantly but have been known to order from them. I think the experience was just like ordering something online only you speak to a person.

I’ve ordered once. I did it online and it was easy. My sister-in-law orders often enough that the UPS guy knows her by name. :-)

I love watching QVC! They are so excited about the stupidest crap that it’s entertaining.
