I'm 21 years old. for about the last 5-6 years when I pee sometimes it will spray in a different direction usually downward and to the right or just drip. When I say spray I mean a mild spray and not just another stream. The regular stream stays going while this happens. Also my pee doesn't just stop, it slows to a drip before I'm done and a lot of times even after this some more come out when I put it away. This can become embarrassing because it can get on my pants or go on the floor etc. and I have to clean it up. I've asked different doctors and they have not had an answer for me. I have been checked for STD's multiple times in the last 5-6 years and have all been negative. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know what this could be and how to solve it?

Hey;

I used to suffer from that when i was 14. Mines was caused by dry semen sticking to the walls of the urethra and therefore causing the urine to go all over the place.

I know what you mean about embarrassing mate. Mines stopped by itself, but it got that way i needed to sit down and urinate. Its all fixed now of course.

Doctors never had an answer for me though

See a urologist, may just need a daily pill. But not unusual experience at all. Handle some of the problem up front--when you whip it out to pee, make sure to do a quick wipe on the tip to ensure there is no stray hair there or the lips are stuck together which can cause erratic and multiple streams. As you get nearly finished with the pee, start cutting it off with your groin muscles. Do this every time to strengthen the muscles and that will help in reducing post pee leakage. Also, before you tuck little jonny back in, quickly strip it with your finger/thumb, starting at the base to remove any leftover urine which will help with post pee drip/leakage also. Good luck!

this sounds more like a physiological issue, have you seen a urologist?
