Eric I supported Ross Perot in 1996. All that did was take a vote away from Bob Dole along with the thousands of others. He would be an influential cabinet member but I'm afraid he just can't win. Then we ended up with Clinton. Worst vote of my life.

J 1---As Mitt and Rudy nip at each other heals the choice will between McCain with all his experience and Huckabee as Vice for his moral turpitude.

Crossing---I don't know the difference between Joe Biden and Harry Reid except that they have different names. So my view is they are both obstructionist and defeatist all in an effort to gain power.

45 Cal---McCain was NEVER for amnesty....He had no choice but to compromise with the likes of Kennedy or no bill would have been drawn. If no bill was drawn the Republicans would look worse than they did by compromising with the Democrats. That's why the bill had NO TEETH. McCain took the hit as he is a loyal Republican first. He is the man.

AMNESTY SUCKD----he co-sponsored the bill and if one wasn't created it would make the Republicans lok weak if one wasn't made. He had to compromise and take the blow. He won't make his party appear weak for political gain. he is a Republicans Republican first. The immigration issue will be hung on the Democrats in the election of '08 mark my words.

Well let's look at the Republicans
McCain: He is probably the most electable, would get alot of crossover votes, esp if running against Hillary. But....the Repubs won't get behinds him for some odd reason.

Rudy: Do we really want a President named Rudy? lol..... Women won't vote for him, esp, Conservative women...HIllary would kill him in a gen election. Might have won as a Democrat...Pro-Choice and Anti-gun.

Romney: Good looking, well spoken, unelectable because of his religion....most ppl. look at Mormons as weirdos who want to have multiple wives...(wait a minute...that's not a bad idea!) Too rich......we already have seen what happens when the ultrarich govern.

Ron Paul: The "Ross Perot" of the 2008 ticket.....he's just a little strange, isn't he? I think he watches cartoons in his spare time.

Fred: Fred would be my choice if I HAD to vote Republican...no serious baggage and that wife of his....ooooolala Go Freddy Go Freddy!

Harlan Huckabee: NO way in God's green earth we are gonna have a President named Huckabee. PLus he is too far to the Right.

The Dems:
Hillary: She has the best chance. Even though she has a lotta baggage, ppl see ther as a leader, and having Bill Clinton as a first-man with his approval ratings ain't gonna hurt.
Obama: Think someone with the middle name Hussein is gonna get elected to this post? No in this lifetime, even with Oprah cheering him on.
Edwards: Maybe...just maybe...if he mussed up his hair a little bit.

You know, this may be a strange answer, but, I have a very, very strong gut feeling on this one, and a lot of times, my gut feelings come true. I believe Obama will win the presidency, however, he has already been in danger of being killed twice. I have a very bad feeling for him, worry. He must know though, what he is getting himself into. I truely believe our next POTUS will be Biden. Which is sad, but, I feel, true. Just look at some of the answers on here of McCain supporters, or just people who hate him based on his race..........Obama\ Biden 08' " May God watch over Mr. Obama, he has made real history!!!, and in my opinion, an amazing man!!!

Don't know - as long as it isn't ANY of the Democrats, Paul (kook), McCain (amnesty) or Huckabee (pro-illegals).

Right now I'm leaning for Romney.

I disagree with one of your comments. McCAIN WAS FOR AMNESTY and it had nothing to do with Teddy. Look at his record and his speeches! If he didn't agree with amnesty, why was he co-sponsoring the bill?

Most likely, Hillary Clinton.

Mike Huckabee, his beliefs closely resemble mine. For all of you that think he is soft on immigration your wrong, you haven't looked at his stance. You listen to the media and just think its fact. Before I go any further if we were to remove all the illegal immigrants our economy would crash. To many lazy Americans don't want those jobs, so they are filling a vital part of our economy.

Here is Mike's stance on Immigration:

Securing our borders must be our top priority and has reached the level of a national emergency.

I support the $3 billion the Senate has voted for border security. This money will train and deploy 23,000 more agents, add four drone planes, build 700 miles of fence and 300 miles of vehicle barriers, and put up 105 radar and camera towers. This money will turn "catch and release" into "catch and detain" of those entering illegally, and crack down on those who overstay their visas.

In this age of terror, immigration is not only an economic issue, but also a national security issue. Those caught trying to enter illegally must be detained, processed, and deported. As Governor, I ordered my state troopers to work with the Department of Homeland Security to arrest illegals and enforce federal immigration law.

I oppose and will never allow amnesty. I opposed the amnesty President Bush and Senator McCain tried to ram through Congress this summer, and opposed the misnamed DREAM Act, which would have put us on the slippery slope to amnesty for all.

I oppose and will not tolerate sanctuaries for illegals. The federal government must crack down on rogue cities that willfully undermine our economy and national security.
I oppose giving driver's licenses to illegals and supports legislation to prevent states from doing so. In 2005, I signed legislation that prevents illegals in Arkansas from getting driver's licenses.

I will stop punishing cities which try to enforce our laws and protect the economic well-being, physical safety, and quality of life of their citizens.

I oppose and will not tolerate employers who hire illegals. They must be punished with fines and penalties so large that they will see it is not worth the risk.

I oppose the economic integration of North America that would create open borders among the United States, Canada, and Mexico. I will never yield one iota or one inch of our sovereignty.

I will take our country back for those who belong here. No open borders, no amnesty, no sanctuary, no false Social Security numbers, no driver's licenses for illegals.

Another reason I support Mike is Fair Tax. Anything to stop the course this country is taking to Socialism. Fair tax would give the government more money than with an income tax system. Give more money back to middle and lower income people. Think of all that money that is tax exempt or is not taxed on evasion. Everyone has to buy things so everyone will pay taxes.

Mitt Romney.

McCain has no chance whatsoever (he may not even be able to carry his own state).
Its just a matter of time before Huckabee's campaign crashes and burns.

Most likely Hillary Clinton. The people of America are ready for change, so most likely will not re-elect a Republican. Hillary appeals to the widest base of any other Democratic candidate due to the fact she is moderately liberal, a democrat, and a woman.

I hope its a Republican, but I fear it won't be.
