I'm on the pill and I have been since May. Me and my boyfriend always use a condom too apart from one time at the end of September (just before my period was due). I got that period and I thought all was fine. However, about two weeks after that, I started to get pregnany symptoms; nausea (and throwing up once), then dizzyness, then my breasts became incredibly sore and some nipple discharge. I went to the doctor for my sickness, she gave me tablets, but their side effects list breast pain and nipple discharge as possibilities. Once I stopped taking them the pain reduced over the following week. I still took 2 pregnancy tests (one week apart; the second first thing in the morning); they both came out negative. Also, recently I've been thinking that my stomach is getting bigger but I think this may be paranoia. I've also just had another period. I just took another test (two months after possible conception) and it came out negative again. I'm confused!
Any help is greatly appreciated!

¿Where have you done the tests? If both of them have gone negative, the most possible thing is that you aren't pregnant. However, ask your doctor.

Relax, this is probably anxiety a/o "paranoia." Most likely you are not pregnant. If you have used the pill faithfully in combination with condoms the chances are extremely slim. You may be having a reaction to the hormone levels of the pills, either being too strong or too weak, or some other hormonal reaction due to something like an ovarian cyst. It may just be a normal "blip" as you adjust to taking the pill. Be aware that some women gain some weight while on birth control. If you're worried, make an appointment with your doctor/obgyn and discuss things. But 3 negative tests and 2 periods after possible conception would usually indicate that NO, you're not pregnant. Take care. :)

Well to be completely honest it could be either in your situation. Anyone can be very careful and still get pregnant, it just happens. My boyfriends mom had 2 of her 3 kids while she was on the pill. I am pregnant now, and I can say that all these symptoms that I am getting or have gotten because of the pregnancy I've gotten while I was most definitely not pregnant and things were normal. The human body is weird, especially a woman's cycle. If you expect it to be completely normal your entire life you're crazy, ya know?? I think you need to just go to the Dr and get a blood test or even go to planned parenthood. They do testing there that can figure out if you really are or are not pregnant. Also, it's normal to lose and gain weight. It sounds like this is something you're clearly stressing about so it's only normal that you would think your stomach is growing. Don't stress, just find out for sure. You can't change it either way now. The best of luck to you!!

If you are concerned, you should go visit the doc again and explain your symptoms. If I were your MD, I would probably do an ultrasound as well as a C125 test, a PAP smear, and a quantitative HCG just to rule out all possibilites of issues with your reproductive organs. Also, your presciption for the pill may possibly be too strong and that may be the cause of symptoms of pregnancy when you aren't pregnant....basically the pill fools your body into thinking it's prego when it isn't.

don't take pregnancy tests go to the doctor and get a blood test done for accuracy!! and just because you are on the pill you know, does not prevent you from getting pregnant. also it takes a least a year for the pill to be fully effective in your blood stream, so if you do have those slip ups... after the year is up you wont have to worry as much as when you first start taking it. those are definite signs of pregnancy in modern days many different virus' and infections and possible diseases have some of those same symptoms, Please go to the doctor because if you are pregnant you need prenatal care as soon as possible. and if you are not pregnant you still need to go to the doctor because something is just not right sweetheart. I hope this helps!

sounds like your just being paranoid. its good to hear you are being so carefull with your contraception but even though you didnt use a condom the pill should have still worked. i wouldnt think you were pregnant as the symtoms went away (annoyingly alot of pills have side effects which are the same as the symptoms) and as the tests were negative id say you arent pregnant stop worrying your fine :)

The test kits from the chemist are very reliable probably more reliable than the test a doctor would do.Any slight symptom you are assuming is to do with pregnancy. Try to focus on something else,it sounds as though this is taking over your life.

Paranoid. You just had a period and negative tests. No, you're not pregnant.
And, your stomach wouldn't be getting bigger already, especially with a first pregnancy. Most women don't show until they are 5 months.

i think your paranoid, youre not pregnant if you just had another period recently and you took 4 test that all come out negative. If you want to be for sure go to a doctor and have them test you to see if your pregnant, but i dont think you are.

I got to 12 weeks pregnant without even noticing anything. Your breasts would not become so sore so soon. However you shoudl really get yourself checked by a GP and mention the fact you think you may be pregnant. They will prove you aren't and sort you out.
