112mph driving to Las Vegas with my buddy and my girfriend, from L.A...

I'd rented a big white Lincoln Continental, and the desert moves so slowly.. the mountains in the distance stay there -- and you can't judge speed, like you can when things are whipping by (like lightposts, or signs). Living in NYC, and although many people speed on highways and even through city streets -- I never do. I'm fairly responsible, and realize the weapon that a car actually is... That's what makes that time, and this example for funny for me to remember and recall.. and by the way, I'd never paid that ticket. And never been back to Nevada -- where I'd probably be locked-up, if caught again!

I have never had a speeding ticket--it's great to have friends that work in law enforcement.
