Lord, yes, to this day I cannot tolerate the smell of whiskey without feeling queasy. To quote a friend of mine, I have "worshiped the white porcelain goddess" more times than I care to admit. Thank heaven it was a long time ago and I don't drink anymore. Boy, did you bring up memories!!

Not for a LONG time. We get old, and that damned garden is full of weeds. Sober works much better, but you don't know it until you KNOW it. Blessings to you; you are not alone there.
