I was just checking out the list of holiday's under Society & Culture and St Patrick's Day is there but no other parton saints are there and I was wondering how come?

Why don't we all celebrate St Andrew, St David and St George's day with such gusto?

You are allowed to celebrate all patron saints days, except St Georges, because that is racist and you would be arrested if you were wearing the flag on said day! This is true!!!! Myself and a bunch of friends were planning a night out this year on St Georges day and were told by the local pubs and bouncers we would not be let in and the police would be called if we arrived sporting the St George flag!!!!!!! The same pubs did special themed weekends for St Patricks Day, makes sense eh?

I don't know.
The Welsh do celebrate St. David's Day.
The Scots don't so much celebrate St. Andrew's Day, but do seem to go fairly wild on Burns' Night, so they do celebrate their Scottishness.
I have a feeling that the majority of the English have no idea when St. George's Day is any way.
However, no doubt some excessively "politically correct" person would block such celebrations!

I'm Catholic, but I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It's only because of Irish tradition that the Irish do it. It's not religious really. Besides, we celebrate all Saint's day on November 2nd so that makes up for every Saint. Including Saint Patrick.

If you would look it, you would see that Saints do have feast days. We celebrate those days to.

It's all down to the Reformation. The Irish like a good party, but you can't expect protestants to enjoy themselves.
