You all gave excellent answers. I can relate to every story here. Thank you all for sharing. I would have to say my grandmother was the greatest influence for good, and my father the worst. In all fairness, I don't think my father intended to be harsh; he just didn't know any better. I can't choose between the answers, so I will put this to hte community vote.

Biggest good influence on me were my teachers and my mom. The biggest bad was my twin sister, if it weren't for here I would never have tried smoking, drinking, shoplifting, drugs, staying out late, tatoos, or all kinds of other things. She was like my evil twin alter ego self, I wento out with her when I wanted to be a little bad. Ha.

Besides my parents a priest in our parish truly help keep me from becoming suicidal and psychotic. When my oldest brother was killed he helped to keep the family stable. When I was molested by a family friend he was the one that I turned to and who helped me tell my parents. When I was in the hospital and in a body cast he not only came and gave me Communion but just to talk and let me vent. I don't think that any one had any real negative influence as I spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals.
Didn't have the time or inclination to get into trouble.

My mom easily even though she worked her *** off and still came home, cooked cleaned and everything else. She always made time for us and did so much more than she had to. She always taught me and bros how to respect others opinion in matters but to also ensure that you let them know how you on that. Just everything and she's the first person that i told about something that i thought i would never tell anyone.

My worst influence i would say my biological father..but he was nowhere near as bad as my uncle. I'll just say when i was a kid he did some things to me that changed my life before it even started...yeah its that deep.

So many good ones. My grandmother jumped in and took care of my when I was 10 days old and my mom had post partum psychosis. She was my rock. Then later in life I had a great English teacher named Mr Law. (he is now an attorney) Then when I went to college it was terrific to discover I was NOT dumber than a rock, and then went to work as a professional. No one gave me any drugs, darn it.

Good influence - probably our next door neighbor. I babysat her kids worked in her shop and went to church with her. Around them I felt like I was in a normal family.
Worst influence - probably my father I sincerely despise him.

*Sorry my friend-it is not very often that I give such a cruel & mean answer- for some reason this touched a nerve in me*
