Being the first woman, pursuing what is otherwise legitimately her previlege as a US citizen ( to seek election to the highest elected ofice of the land ), Hillary had to to face so many brick bats thrown at her in the form of wild accusations of flip flopping ( a political expediency which every one in politics ordinarily does), lying, suspecting her bona fieds to execute her presidential duties incidental to her inability to run her own house (due to the unwomanly act of forgiving an erring husband), to what not. She withstood all these brick bats so far bravely . It can't be plain selfishness but it is a courageous act due to her conviction.

Um. I think you should look at the latest Zogby Poll. And if I may be so bold, your littany sounds a bit hollow. It does not sound like even you are buying this line anymore. Look, no woman who continues to present herself as a victim will ever get elected as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief. We see that she lacks likeability, leadership qualities, cannot think quickly on her feet, is highly scripted and generally does not have the temperment nor the character to stand up for what is right.

Whether this is true or not, this is what people are seeing. If you want her to win she will have to do a lot better than lament "brick-bats". Everyone sees these things as part of the job. And she as queen of "brick bat" tossing, herself.

Being First Lady does not qualify her to be President. Being a one and a half-term junior Senator does not qualify her to be President. Being "intelligent" does not qualify her to be President. What does?

What groups of people has she led? How many lives have depended on decisions she has made? What was the largest budget she has ever been responsible to handle? What business has she run?

Are you suggesting her gender makes her more qualified than Bill Richardson? He is a Governor and has been an ambassador. He has been in politics for a long time. Show me where Hillary is more qualified than Bill Richardson and I will vote for her.

Show me how she is more qualified than the Republican Candidates and I will vote for her. She isn't. I am not voting for her.

You confuse conviction (of which she has none given her willingness to abandon anything and pretty much anyone who will not advance her pursuit of the Presidency) with ambition (of which she has a tremendous overload). I can understand your confusion since both words end with "tion".

By the way there have been other women candidates for the presidency but there candidacy's never reached this point. It is not courageous to be consumed by your own ambition. It is sad and depressing to watch. She deserved much better than a constantly cheating husband and a life lived in a fishbowl. She, however, chose that, as it made her quest for power more likely to succeed.

I agree. But it is far from the end of the struggle, as you can tell from all the hatefulness directed her way.
