1st off, coaches do change their overall game plan week to week, it would be dumb to play the same all year against different teams cuz they different. As for the "tainted" Super Bowls, THEY WON...PERDIOD! For all u who claim they cheated, show me proof on how it's possible to steal a sign in less than 40 seconds after figuring out who the real play caller is, then relay the message to Brady. Please tell me how u can do it, cuz it cant be done. Listen they were using the tapes for future games agains that team and or coach & the way the ywent about it broke a rule cuz of where the camera was located. ALL Teams can and do record the plat signals from the box above. It's legal and part of the game. The Pats just broke a rule to where the camera can and should be located so get it out of all your heads that their Super Bowl are "tainted". It's like two people who are fighting, it's legal inside the ring but not on the street! That's what the Pats did so get that thru ALL your thick skulls. As for the best team ever, well it's still too early to tell. They still got a big game this weekend vs the Steelers, then the rest should be a cake walk, with the Giants being a game that may matter if the Pats are still undefeated and the G-Men are looking for a playoff spot or better seed. Then there's the playoffs where every team is tough cuz they in the playoffs. Buy the pay, that fat *** rat coach who just cant beat his teacher when it matters, well he used to be a part of this team that he called out! So phuck Mangina & all u haters. Tho I do love u haters cuz u hating on my team, the best dynasty ever in NFL history! Keep the hate it just fuels the Pats fire.

No they aren't the best team in NFL history. They will not go undefeated & Miami Dolphins of 1972 remain only undefeated team in NFL history. Steelers of the 70"s, 49er's of the 80"s & Cowboys of the 90's will be tough to beat out as all time great team. Yes they did win 3 Super Bowls by a total of 9 points, yes they won but the other teams like Cowboys, 49ers, Bears who beat the Patriots by a lot more than 3 points & Redskins over Broncos. These teams dominated their games & won by a lot more than 3 points. A win is win though.

Too soon to tell, if they go 19-0 then they have to be as good as anyone. The 1985 Dolphins? Really? The 1985 Patriots squished that fish.
Best teams for a run were Pittsburgh and San Fran, best single seasons were 1985 Bears and 1972 Dolphins.
Patriots would be ranked for both with a 4th Superbowl win.

It's tough to compare across generations in football because today's athletes are far faster and stronger than teams from even 30 years ago.
Excepting that qualifier, I'd still be hesitant yet to put this Pats team ahead of someone like the '85 Bears. That team led the league in points allowed and finished second in points scored, went 15-1 with all wins coming by 6 or more points, and won their three playoff games by a total score of 91-10.
Until New England completes their season, it's way to early to crown them.

Obviously the Canucks. They were the best team in the regular season and lost in the championship. Why do people keep saying the Caps? The '07 pats were the best in the regular season and lost in the championship. The Caps were neither the best team in the regular season and they didn't lose in the championship. The Canucks were the best and they lost in the stanley cup. This question should be a no brainer.

If this year:
They go undefeated regular season.
They win the superbowl.
Brady gets the single-season TD record.
Moss breaks some records.
Belichick give the commish the finger after he is handed the trophy.
Jets footage is put in the Championship DVD under the 'Bonus' section.
Then YES, they will be the best team EVER.
(Although, you don't really need the last 2 on there.)

This question is highly overrated. Do you have anything more original to ask? I'm hoping you know there are 31 other teams in the league. The Patriots are 12-0 respectively, but they haven't even accomplished the Colts' feat of 14-0 last season yet. There will be more to talk about after the game on Sunday hopefully.

i think the "2007-2008" patriots r at least one of the best teams in the history.. wut i wouldnt say is that they're one of the best dynasties ever.. this year after they were caught cheating they were still blowing teams out and its obvious they have a much more dominant team this year than in the 3 or 4 years in the past.. im skeptical about whether or not they'd have the superbowl seasons they had in the past if the hadn't cheated cuz like u said im assuming this wasn't just a one week thing against the jets it probably has been going on for quite sumtime.. so this year yes.. as a dynasty and over the past few years-- idk..

The season isn't over so its a premature question. But as far as their legacy being tainted, no. In hater eyes sure, in reality no. Was the Broncos legacy tainted because the violated cap rules(a far bigger advantage than a tape recorder could give), but no.

I like how you spread your taint. Disguised in a legit question. Move on and get over it because the facts do not support the cheating accusations. Just ask Goddell... "did not gain a competitive advantage". If it was your team and you heard that you would have been satisfied, but instead you came in not liking the Pats and use it for your argument. The cheat label was started by the media and all the misinformed public ate it up.
