Jones for the Dodgers, Hunter for the Angels

Good question. I think Andruw Jones will have a nice rebound year and his average will go up. I'm reminded of Yadier Molina who had a near Mendoza line average last season, but this season it rocketed up. Jones will never be accused of being a contact hitter, but he is better than that. Besides, Andruw's career numbers and past offensive contributions have been greater than Hunter's, and Hunter is older.

If he returns to form I would say that Jones for the Dodgers, they need a bat bad in that line-up where as Hunter is going to be just another bat in the line-up; defensively I think Hunter is better than Jones, Jones appears to be heading towards the downside of his career in the field.

Well being Jones hit .222 with 26 HR and 94 RBI and is a sub par .260 lifetime hitter, I'd give the edge to Hunter. Hunter hit .287 last year with 28 HR and 107 RBI. While I believe both are almost equal with their glove, Hunter scores more runs and get more SB.

Since no one really knows which Jones is going to show up in LA, I would have to go with Hunter.

You know what? Everyone has an off year. Andruw Jones is still very young and just entering his prime. My guess is that he'll start playing like himself again. Get ready to see a Hall-of-Famer in the making.

I really think T. Hunter will because he fits in well with the Angels style ( speed & defence )
