For me happiness is all about love and family...which you can't buy. So many people these days are intent on buying the latest and greatest, only to find it doesn't make them happy...and something new is always coming along. Growing up, I was the youngest of six...we didn't have a lot of money, but the memories we have...the laughter and good times...priceless.

Because for awhile I had money and was terribly unhappy.

Im now working my way out of a bad financial situation, but Im much happier.

A certain amount of money is necessary for happiness, but after that point it doesnt really make a difference. Once your basic needs are met, happiness has to come from within, not from the material world.

Because money cannot buy everything that can make you happy. As the saying goes, "love of money is the cause of all evils."

Money can't buy love or peace of mind. True happiness comes from the inside. Any happiness money buys is only ephemeral.

People without money always think that if they had it they would be happier. Of course it helps to not have to worry about paying bills ect.
I have known some wealthy people who were lonely and miserable people to be around.
i once knew this guy who was always chashing after "easy" money. A real criminal type.He would do anything not to have to go to work.Rip off old friends and steal, just about anything to make money.
He pulled a fake accident scam and really got hurt badly. He broke his back and was in the hospital for over one year and then lived in a wheelchair.
None of his old friends would even visit him and he was sick and lonely the rest of his life.a sad story but he did collect over 2 millon dollars from the accident.

Because people with money can still be miserable and lonely - there is just no connection. Besides, how many people who have a lot of money have you heard say they have "enough" money? They will always chase the green, no matter how much they have!

Money can't buy you happiness. ( They don't sell it in the store...). It MIGHT, however, be able to buy you the kind of misery that you could enjoy.....

I manage to find happines despite my relatively low income. It's much more a question of your state of mind.
