With farmers devoting so much land to growing corn for ethanol, crop prices are soaring. Beer prices may be poised to double.

Is this the legacy of Dems?

So will toilet paper, it's back to newspaper sheets. Regarding corn the farmers can't keep up with the demand. I think they are right because almost every product in the market has corn as an additive. Already, prices are soaring because of the gas crunch. Foreigners are not coming to America to buy property because the dollar is so weak. You know what irks me is that many of the wealthy politicians are telling us to be global warming conscious while they drive gas hogs, private planes, and have mansions with acres of land. Then they dig deep into middle Americans pockets to fund their projects. I call this a clear cut double standard. We haven't heard the last from these global warming activist. Stop Sin Taxes!

Beer isn't even made from corn. It's from hops and barley. The shortage of those ingredients is attributed to bad weather causing crop failure. It's getting ridiculous that every price hike is being attributed to the government's demand for corn crops. Milk prices went up and they said the same thing. Truth is corn isn't even a cows natural diet. They are supposed to be eating grass. Next thing you know the Jolly Green Giant is going to be laid off due to corn prices. The only big increases I've seen in beer prices is from increased sales taxes.

i've got faith you're thinking is truly clean! I in basic terms desire the regular public of our countrymen and girls human beings will awaken to the reality that this "disaster" became much less of a disaster previous to each and all the heavy hitting spending our very own government did. i think of that company and government could be stored separate, tho I do have faith company needs some regulations. i do no longer think the Treasury could in any way have governance given to them over extra effective than in basic terms the banking industry. to furnish that plenty potential to a branch of government is definitely no longer what our founding father's needed for us. They needed the human beings to maintain the potential, and the government to artwork FOR the human beings. how this is going we can all be working for the government in one way or yet another and our democracy will slip away. with out our oversight our very own government can injury us.

They will never get the south back now!

You think relying on ethanol for fuel compared to giving money to terrorists for oil is a bad thing? In what world does that square with keeping us safe? I would much rather give my money to a farmer down the street than our friends the Saudis.

Doubling the price of beer that will spell doom for the DNC more than anything else.

I can put up taxes.
I can put up with anti-religious rants.
I can put up with attack on our troops
I can put up establishing the nanny state

Yet when it comes to beer.

That is my hard line in the sand.
