Well it's all very confusing and i guess the only way you will really know is when you have him/her. Like you i was very confused, i didn't find out i was pregnant until i was already 5 months along, i had an ultrasound and they had told me my due date was November 15th, then again at my second ultrasound they had said that i was going to have her October 5th well i ended up having her August 25th, they say she was 6 weeks early. What i don't understand is how they could be so off on my due date. I didn't get very big and i actually started getting a big belly right at the end of my pregnancy. My daughter was born weighing 6lbs 3oz 18inch long, perfectly healthy.
At least you know your due date is sometime in April i on the other hand was told 2 different months but had her on a completely different month lol.

Stick to the LMP date. It's the most accurate. Babies can range in development in there, and still be due at the LMP due date.
My babies always measure at least a 1/2 week big or more...#1 came at 40 weeks 2 days, #2 at 40 weeks 1 day...#3 is at 40 weeks 2 days and counting...
My OB says unless it's off significantly, like a month...there's absolutely no reason to adjust the due date after an ultrasound.

My dr changed my due date with each ultrasound, they were all within the same week. She came on the first one that coincided with my lmp. Well she was actually 12 minutes early. She was born at 11:48. Midnight would have been her due date. lol. I would say the when April Fool's day gets here you should be on the lookout for baby.

The 10 week ultrasound will be the most accurate. I would go with that. They are all pretty close any way, and the due date is just an estimate at best.

There is no need to be confused my due date changed four times. According to my LMP it was sep 1. According to the three sonograms it was the 10, 13, and 14 of sept. My daughter was born aug 23. So the baby will come when he or she is ready. Congrats and goodluck

I think you are going to have your baby in April. They are not telling people point on dates anymore. I got told between Jan 25th and Jan 28th. My last ultra sound said i was 29 weeks 4 days... and I was really 31 weeks 4 days and they told me that my baby was 3.5 pounds. So who knows... just hope for a healthy baby and pick your own due date... congrats.

dont go by the ultrasounds since they convey more about the rate of growth and the state of the child and not about conception and delivery..and the nearest best estimate that a doc can is give by LMPand +/- by one week which incidently also tallies with ultrasound studies in your case making the date around 10thand +/-1 week.....or whenever the child is ready to come...all going well......best of luck and stop bothering

aww congrats! My 3rd daughter was due on april 15th! I had her on the 10th :) Just ask your doctor what they are still considering your due date. I was told unless there is a 2 week difference that you keep the date you were first told so I'm going to guess your doctor is still considering you due on April 15th. Congrats again Mama!

Well, that's because they can only give you a ballpark guess. When my doctor told me our due date, she told us it was give or take a week. It is VERY rare for a baby to be born on the exact due date. Just be ready around that time. Good luck and congratulations!

Due dates are just an estimation on the date and can be off by up to two weeks. (before and after) so all is well and no one hardly ever gives birth on their due date!
