Do lots of people know about them, because i have never heard of them until my uncle told me he was their producer!

Well im 18, but id never heard of them before, untill i heard 'another' brick in the wall' and recognised the song! Unfortunatly my uncle died last year but Roger waters Sang 'We wish you were here' at his funeral, hes a really nice man.

Pink Floyd is probably one of the most famous and well-known bands ever, along with the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin and The Who. Their album "Dark Side of the Moon" has been on the top 100 best selling albums every year for over the past 25 years. They are an amazing band, but you either love them or hate them.

Yes, they are famous, like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, etc. etc.
They were nationwide, and they have a HUGE fanbase.

Erm they are one of the greatest bands to come out of the UK from the mid 60s through thier huge sell out concerts globally,,they are and will always be bigger than almost all other groups they have a huge fan base globally,and have recorded many albums and still do,,you would be hard pushed to find a group that are better known

I was going to say your uncle was pulling your leg, but then I don't think Roger would sing at just anyones funeral.

I say purple Floyd because before i fairly listened to them i might want to nonetheless a minimum of brand quite a few of their songs from listening to them on the radio each and each and every of the time. I not in any respect fairly knew who Kiss became.

It can't be possible in this day and age you haven't heard "Dark Side of the MOON"; the album was only on the bilboard charts for 12 years or so
