Remember, we're looking for the greatest WRESTLER of all time, not the greatest DANCER of all time, so please don't nominate any of those lame WWE ballerinas. If there's another actual wrestler you have in mind, please feel free to write him in.

I wanted to tell you not to offend us WWE fans, but I can't. I guess you have a point, WWE is hiring ballerinas lately, good wrestling is not important anymore...

Saying that, I have to go with Bret Hart as the best wrestler ever. .
And if HE is a ballerina, then I'm getting tickets for the ballet.

Of all time means in all of history, so there were Greeks who could beat the men you list. In the Trojan war tale, giant Ajax won in wrestling at Achilles' funeral games. Achilles was the strongest man at Troy and the biggest at 13.5 feet tall. I figure he weighed 2200 to 2400 pounds. Ajax was second onlty to his cousin Achilles in size and strength. Some gigantic bones were found centuries later and thought to be Ajax's. In the Olympics of classic times, Polydamas was a wrestler who was 6'-8" tall and weighed 330 lbs. or so with no visible fat. he strangled a lion. Milon of Crotona carried a grown bull on his shoulders into the arena and then killed it with a blow of his fist. How would your men do against these ancient champions of the Olympics? Even in more modern times, How about the turn of the century with George Hackenscmidt facing Frank Gotch? in the 1920's Jim Londos was notable. if you say "all time", you msut consider all of these men and more .

Dory Funk - loved that figure four leg lock.

You did say "Of all time" Dory was king in the '60's and early '70's, for you newbees

Funk was an Indiana high school state champion amateur wrestler for three years, as well as an Indiana State University Amateur Athletic Union champion for one year.

Funk started professionally wrestling after serving in the United States Navy during World War II, starting in the southwest United States. He wrestled primarily in the Texas territories and the Central States territories during his career. He was also famous for having 250 Texas death matches without a loss and is a record that has never been broken.

After retirement he became a promoter in Amarillo, Texas with Doc Sarpolis, in which he led a thriving wrestling scene which produced many superstars, including his sons Dory Funk Jr. and Terry Funk, as well as Stan Hansen, Ted DiBiase, Tito Santana, Jumbo Tsuruta and Genichiro Tenryu. Funk had a good business relationship with All Japan Pro Wrestling founder Shohei Baba, which led Funk's talent pool to useful international experience.

On July 15, 2006, Dory Funk Sr. was inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, at the International Wrestling Institute and Museum in Newton, Iowa. The award was accepted by his younger son, Terry Funk. Other inductees included Larry Hennig, Bret Hart, Mike DiBiase, Nikita Koloff, Tom Jenkins, and Bob Roop.

I'd say Kurt Angle even though Sanderson was undefeated in college. Angle won two gold medals and he's easily more of a household name than any of the others.
