well im 17 started birth control last sunday at 6 in the morning that same day i was with my boyfriend and we had sex, he came inside of me and saturday was the last day of my period and so they say the day after your period ur most fertile and u kan get pregnant and i did have sex. so im freaked out...can i become pregnant? and if i keep taking the pills and i were to be will it effect the baby?

the day after ur period is the least fertile day of ur cycle by the way...and if u were taking pills during previous cycle there is no way u can be preg.
u are most fertile around middle of flowless days that is around 14 day of 28 day cycle counted from 1st day of last menstrual period...
it is rare for u 2 become pregnant lest u seem worried consult ur doc

Yes, you can get pregnant. I don't remember the exact time frame, but the directions always say to use another backup method for a while after you start taking the pills until your body has adjusted. One day definitely isnt enough though, I doubt the pill did anything - so yes, you can get pregnant.

And if you were to be pregnant, it will affect the baby. If you think you're pregnant, STOP taking them and talk to your dr.

Yes you can get pregnant. NO contraceptive is 100%.
