By theme song, I mean the 80's popular song that best represents you and your own "personal theme" now or at that time.
Socko, I love yours!

Love in an Elevator
Have I even heard that song before? I doubt it. Fun site Gladys. Son's was "Walk Like an Egyptian" No school for him, I'm home today. It's obviously fun in here during the daytime. I've been missing out.

Your sight said "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" which is actually right on- but personally I always go with as my theme song one that is probably 90's but Four Non Blondes-"What's Up"
And so I wake in the morning
And I step outside
And I take a deep breath and I get real high
And I scream at the top of my lungs
What's going on?
And I say, hey hey hey hey
I said hey, what's going on?
Twenty - five years and my life is still
Trying to get up that great big hill of hope
For a destination
(only it's more like 45 years than 25) I am still heading towards that destination-I made it halfway up when I left my husband 4 years ago.

OK...mine is: "Small Town" and ALL music By John Mellencamp...I still have a crush on him!! He was THE 80's man for me!! lol!
Also "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off", released on the Arista label in 1986. It reached #5 in the national charts.
We don't have to take our clothes off
To have a good time
Oh no
We could dance and party all night (all night)
And drink some cherry wine
Uh huh
Na na na na na na na............
Never really knew the words to the whole song but
me and my girlfriends used to chant the chorus all the time!! Oh Boy!!

For The Good Times. I think that's the name of it and I think it is by Eddie Arnold. It was my husbands favorite song. We married in 1980. I was never a fan of country music, but I did like this one.

That was fun! And the answer is "Ebony and Ivory" by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. How they came up with this from "Walking on Broken Glass" by Annie Lenox is beyond me.
