As I was saying, before I was so rudely interupted by the Suspension of my Madpol1 account, Chuck Robb's chances are close to non-existent because Centrism isn't very popular these days.

Single Interest and Special Interest groups control the Political Agenda and have for some time. The voters are getting fed up with them, but the General Public has no real voice. Perhaps, in a few years, Americans will move away from the poles and get out to the polls to vote for a platform that serves America's interest as a whole--but I'm not holding my breath.
