The USA refuses to sign the kyoto protocol because of China & Brazil.

We can produce more electicity without the use of fossil fuels , radiation , or interfering with jet streams(large windmills). If this were a game of monopoly I'd buy Water Works. If we can raise & lower ships with water (canal locks)without harming wildlife why not produce electricity with it?(not like hydro plants with (blender) turbines) We have a lot of flowing rivers & streams.

Kyoto Protocol:
An international agreement that aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and the presence of greenhouse gases. Countries that ratify the Kyoto Protocol are assigned maximum carbon emission levels and can participate in carbon credit trading. Emitting more than the assigned limit will cause the violating country to be penalized by lowering its emission limitation in the following period.

USA always refuses to sign or join these kinds of things. The U.S. did the same thing when the majority of the countries including Europe, Japan, and all other countries agreed to help reduce carbon dioxide and prevent global warming, U.S. refused to do it. I believe America wouldn't be signing it once again just like last time. The government cares more about the money rather than help preventing global warming.

I found it astounding that the signatories of the Kyoto could even breathe under the methane gasses of the bull$*&@ that was polluting the room at the time. With all the hot air (and aforementioned methane), Algore would have been orgasmic at the discovery of the cause of all "global warming" that originated in that very room. He missed out on another "award". Pity.

We should not sign any agreement the reduces our standard of living so that another nation may get wealthy.

Why should the commies in China (who get hundreds of billions of dollars per year from the US) get a free ride?

I mean liberals have long been accused of pandering to communists, but this takes the cake.

Chinese communists have nuclear subs, satellites and a space program! -They can WELL afford to sign Kyoto!

As America loses its entire manufacturing base to China, it is WE who must reduce OUR emissions?!!! Let China spend a little less on the largest-manned military in the world and have a taste of the political-correctness being leveled at the FREE world.

The US should work on cutting down pollution rather than signing stupid protocols.
