I mean, there's WAYYYYYY to many people disappearing without a trace. Alot of possibilities, like maybe they're murdered, drowned..etc.. But what if there's no body. Do you ever wonder whether they're really disappearing from the face of the earth? Like maybe into another dimension? Think about the Bermuda Triangle too. The way people and things just mysteriously disappear into thin air. Fur-reaky.

Aha. Thank you Kychick. Yeah. Hmm, some of you may be right though. But what about things like the Bermuda triangle? i dont think what you said apply to that. I dont think the whole lot just decided to go ahead and get a new life. And even then, what happens to the ships and planes? i read up quite abit on it and the more i read, the more freaked out i got.

I love this question. I also wonder what happens to people that simply vanish without a trace, never to be heard from again.
One recent example, Steve Fossett. Possibly alien abductions like in the movie "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind"?
Can't wait to read the answers. A star for you!
Edit: " In Close Encounters Of The Third Kind" The pilots lost in the Bermuda triangle came off the space ship.

Research "fugues".
They're a psychological episode that offers a good explanation for disappearances. Of course, apparently they don't happen very often, but I don't know how they could know that is a person never woke up from a fugue state. There wouldn't be anyone to verify that's what happened to them...
As for the Bermuda Triangle, it has been thought, though there are no conclusive answers, that in that specific area there is an odd build up of pressure, which can cause severe damage to be done to objects in that area. Turbulance and inability to pilot devices. This could lead to destruction or getting lost.

Except for those few who disappear because they choose to, there's always s-o-m-e-o-n-e who knows what happened. There's always a body, whether alive or dead but finding it is often difficult. You're correct that there are way too many people disappearing. We are living in a dangerous time with many evil, violent people around us. Perhaps if our laws reflected more severely on crimes of violence and murder, and if our prisons were even harsher places, some crimes might decrease. If mental health issues were properly addressed; if better parenting was being done by the masses; ,,,,,,,,,if..if..if !!

Maybe the U.S. government did sign a secret agreement. Space alien technology for an occasional human. Looks like the space aliens are taking advantage of this contract. Or it could be part of the Alternative 3 program.

Glenn Miller,Amelia Earhart,Jimmy Hoffa..just a few off the top of my head that are still missing and presumed dead. Funny that all of them flew quite a bit . I don't know what that means..but it is a similarity.
Recently the Fosset guy who they cannot find in a desert, with all the technology available,it seems odd and strange that he disappeared.

A lot of times people disappear because they want to lay low for awhile ... like the guy in England who claims to have had amnesia for five years? Ya right!
A lot of cases though are met with foul play and their bodies desceminated.
There is the case of the high school girl in Aruba who's body has never been found.
I think a lot of it is self staged though.

There's a show about that, or there used to be, that was interesting. Turned out a lot of them just felt like moving on to something new in life. I thought it was sort of strange but then again I'm no one to judge. Oh, no I don't wonder about them, ever.

I just kind of assume that there are two possibilities. The first is that a murder took place. The other is that identity has been changed. If someone just wants to move on, they will.
