I live in North West London and would like to go on a weekend break to somewhere pleasant that is about 2 hours drive away. I was thinking Portsmouth, Brighton etc? Do you know a place that has activites/spas etc?

Come to bournemouth, loads to do down here and the nightlife is good as well....I can get to london from here in about 2hr 20....If not I would recommend Brighton as i was there for a hen weekend 3 weeks ago and we had a great time.

Brighton's a good place. Or the Hotel du Vin hotel in Winchester is really nice.

How about Henley in Oxfordshire - that's amazing and easy for you to get out to on the M40 from NW London.

I merely spent close to 2 weeks in Leeds with a chum. We drove to Scarborough, Grimsby, York...lot's of u . s . a . area all round. Plus the Leeds city middle has great procuring, and the Kirkstall Abbey (equipped contained in the 1100's) is a superb piece of historic previous. it is a California, US chicks opinion, yet I loved the finished vacation.

theres 2 gorgeous places - 1) The cotswolds near oxford, 2) The new forest in hampshire .

So much to do and so relaxing, lots of sites to visit if you want. Car is advisory

how about the isle of wight?

that has plenty of things to do even during the winter months
