They predict that there will be 7 hurricanes next year. Since they have been wrong the past couple of years, is this science or just a dumb guess?

Whoever this William Gray is, must not know anything about climate. 2006, the year after Katrina, was supposed to be a bad Hurricane season. 2007 wasn't a bad one either. These fear mongers are going to predict bad Hurricane seasons every year and when it does happen, they're going to say "I told you so."

Don't mess with Israel. I am a firm believer in the numerous books and articles linking these storms to the presidents and other messing with Israel. I read two and it is amazing. Like when Bush one pushed for the Spanish talks a storm came out of Newfoundland and wiped his house away. Katrina hit when the last pulled out of Gaza and then Rita hit when the last documented pulled of of the West Bank area. I know people may think this is nutty, but one book shows the Nazi party in 1936 in New York and they had a big rally and this storm came up and wiped away that area and the buildings. There are 100s of different examples like Arafat coming to see Clinton and the stock market dropping hundreds of points in consecutive days and the like. The storms, tornadoes etc. are all documented and maybe it is just accident, but I did have many state Katrina would rock our block due to the Gaza deal. So this is interesting and may not be right, but I figure when they do something else, just sit back and see what happens. Don't get mad about this, but i suggest you read some of the books and articles. Merry Christmas care.

there is no situation with predictions; it somewhat is an predicted activity, so climate forecasters carry on with the norm or predicted. the venture comes with the certainty of the journey. In all of my years, I by no skill predicted that we ought to have a typhoon season wherein we went into the Greek alphabet or had a typhoon so on the brink of Christmas(as with Epsilon). I understand from study that there have been hurricanes outdoors the set season- as in January, February and March. the day gone by, I study some typhoon brewing off Puerto Rico; and that's merely approximately mid-December. i assume it somewhat is greater effectual to foretell too plenty than to be caught off look after with the unpredicted.

It may be science, but it has a low reliability.
They told us last year that we would have a very wet winter in southern California. I was looking forward to winter floods and running water in the summer. Instead, we had a record dry spell.

Typical weather predictions. However, there have been a lot more hurricanes recently, more powerful anyway, than previously so their chances of being correct is pretty high.
